Buy as you view TV insurance

Hi Just after a bit of advice, we bought a Samsung smart 3d TV from BAYV and took out the TV insurance that covers accidental damage with it, just recently our 2 1/2 year old autistic boy threw the remote control and broke the TV. BAYV have taken the damaged TV and replaced it with a standard Samsung TV. We aren't happy with the new TV obviously loosing the features that we paid a lot of money for. Any advice on where we stand with getting a similar TV? Thanks

Depends what the insurance terms say

I would say they should replace with an equivalent

  • Sorry, yeah this is a replacement TV ours was damaged beyond repair, big crack across the screen and started smoking.
  • On the insurance documents it says they will pay upto £15,000 or the original rrp of the electrical item whichever is lowest.
