How do you get a better deal from SKY

Moving house shortly and currently with Virgin, but fed up with lack of channels and not getting football first etc, rang today and the best deal Virgin could come up with was more expensive than SKY, seemed quite happy that i would cancel when i get my completion date for moving.

Ok so want SKY, want sports and movies, got quoted £43.50 a month (BT line £11 extra p/m) for tv, 2mb broadband and evening and weekend calls, is there any way/possiblilty that i would be able to bartar with them and what is the best number to speak to, tried before on the main sales number and all i got was 'that is the only offer available at the moment'
