Any one else been to try it? Positioned in the harbour car park. My 17yo daughter has just returned bitterly disappointed from it. Its not the fact that it cost £7 for an hour, or that the ice is cut to shreds or that it's rough n lumpy. They don't want you to skate and enjoy yourself! You can't skate between people or try any moves like you can at Castlereagh. It seems they do their level best to stop you doing very much. People who can skate properly are told not to skate at any sort of speed or they will face the wrath of the stewards. She seen a few angry skaters having words saying they had paid money to skate. It is a skating rink after all. I don't know if its a council organised activity or a commercial venture with the pub situated beside the car park.

Sounds like a case of Health & Safety or insurance gone mad. Pity, I thought it was a very good idea.[STRIKE]Less is more.[/STRIKE] No less is Less.0

I think they priced themselves too high0

Yes, priced far too high. £28 for a family of 4? I don't think so.0

I don't think Central Park in New York cost this much! Ice was of the same quality though, and these types of things are for novelty value only.0
