Route planner to avoid the London Congestion Charge

We will be travelling to Crystal Palace from Fleetwood in July and (trying to be organised) have been checking the route on the RAC website. I can't see where it says anything about the zone on the route. Will we have to go through the congestion zone to get there? Is Crystal Palace within the zone and if it is does that mean we have to pay for our car every day it is parked there? (We are going to a campsite.)Many thanks for any help.

  • I think I've managed to answer my own question! We will be arriving on a Saturday and leaving the following week on the Sunday so there is no congestion charges on these days anyway. (Car will be parked entire time.)

Would we be charged for the Monday to Friday that we are there as I've found out that the site we are going to is inside the LEZ (that is different to the congestion zone isn't it?)?

Here is a map of the CC Zone.

Crystal Palace is not in the zone.

LEZ is Low Emission Zone. If you are driving a car (ie not a minibus, motorcaravan, large van, lorry), don't worry about it.
