  • Because of the area,I cannot help you .
However, if you are stuck , I recommend acupuncture .
    Plenty of acupuncturists around .
    Good luck in your search

    Can I join in?

    I recommend dentistry! :D
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.

His gp is the place to start. Many surgeries can sell refer to physio.
Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

    I would recommend osteopathy.
Hands on treatment and no machines.
An osteopath got me walking when I had a dead foot- last ditch attempt after I had tried everything else. That is now many years ago.
She kept my arthritic knees at bay for at least 8 years before I had total knee replacements last year.

Hope that your Dad will get sorted but I suspect it will take a few sessions. Have you managed to get an appointment for quite soon.
Hope so , so that he gets some relief, pain is very wearing.

thank you so much for your concern, they didnt have any appointments before tuesday but then they got a cancellation and we are going tomorrow.

the pain is pretty bad but hopefully he should be able to do something to help, leg is pretty numb and the GP just said it'll get better by itself.

    And the GP is correct!

The problem is that you will go to osteopath and the pain will probably get better (as it would get better anyway). You will the attribute the improvement to the osteopath.
In reality, all you will be doing is paying lots of money for an improvement that would have happened anyway whilst exposing yourself to the risks of osteopathy.

Do you know what they call alternative medicine that works?
    Medicine! :)
