Hi folks,
this is probably everyday stuff for you all but I've just had a fab yellow sticker bargain at Tesco. Got 5 cartons of my lactofree milk for 3p each! It's usually £1.35 so I was chuffed.
My question is about freezing it, I've never frozen milk before. Do I leave it in the package it came in (tetrapak) or do I need to decant it into something else? How long can I keep it in there?

Yup, leave it in the pack. Might bulge a bit but it'll be fine.0

Another alternative is to use icecube trays/bags. Means you can portion it out easier - if it's short-dated today then you might not want to keep a pack out more than a day in the fridge, whereas if you only need 3 or 4 cubes for a cuppa, you can keep the rest frozen to prevent wastage0

Lacto free milk, does not freeze well in a tetra pack. You really do need to decant it.
From past experience with it, if left in the pack it developes an odd taste. Also advises you to decant before freezing on the pack. hth0
