    Good news at last:

Sent in my last 3 payslips that contained student loan payments to the SLC at the beginning of May only now have I received a letter saying I'll be getting a refund of £163! Must be the time of year as previously it has been sorted within 2 weeks. Was thinking that they had never received it.

Now what to do with the money.

Payday tomorrow! A trip to the new micro pub is in order I think!

Just done the food order from Asda to be delivered tomorrow £67.80 for 2 weeks worth of food. Will still need to buy things like milk, bread, veg, chips etc but the OH can buy them.

What does it mean when a bank can't do a loan application online only in store or via the phone? I would love to have only one loan as I'm paying £268 for the two. Unfortunately my credit history makes it impossible to get anything good :(

    Payday today!

I have so far saved the following:
    £102.49 pension

    To follow:
    £25 lloyds savings
    £75 HL LISA
    £50 HL SIPP

Not too bad, that's 11% from net pay + 5.6% from gross pay.

OH is on a low wage this month due to moving from bank to contract and HR putting in his pay too late to get a full 3 weeks so only gets 60% + being on BR tax code. At least next pay will be better and include the missing 40%. This means the money from my SL refund will have to be used and not saved :(

Well OH hasn't been paid on contract just his final bank. He has manage to be able to pay his half of the bills but it looks like we will need to use the holiday money we brought back with us (need to exchange it still, should be £310) and replace it when he does get paid. If it doesn't happen this Friday then the department will have to chase it up!

Can't wait till st July when I can reconcile my account with YNAB. I budget 24th - 23rd but YNAB only do 1st - 30th/31st.

In other news I am loving my new gym but I do wonder why they have 3 smith machines and only 1 power rack. A smith machine is only ever useful as a coat rack.

Oh HR sorted out my credit union payment so now it all goes out via my wage.

Done two bank account switches today, waiting to see if I manage to get the switching money - Co Op + TSB.

Need to really work on paying more than the minimum on the credit cards. Currently I have it set to £20 on each, both with balances of around £400, Needs to be £66 a month to pay off by Christmas :( My budget is a basic as it can be, will throw anything left the day before pay day at each of the card..

I am hoping to have my credit cards paid off by the time I start. The credit cards on there are the two in my partners names which we both have used.

I aim to work bank shifts mostly at weekends to cover the shortfall as well as give me some spending money. I could probably afford to continue paying it but it would be a real struggle.

I rarely comment on other peoples posts, maybe that is wyy no one every comments on mine. I commented on one today and think I came off as a complete !!!!!!! I didn't mean to. Maybe I should just stick to posting on here and my blog (when I ever update). :(

Maybe I'm just annoyed because the guy delivering my wardrobe couldn't as the post code ended in P and not U! It's the same road! Who's betting that the same three parcels will come back to me on Monday!
