CCJ Advice

I need some help. I've been working hard to sort out my credit rating which I've managed to do with long hours and hard work. I regularly check both my expairan and noodle report to keep track.
So I received a letter yesterday regarding a pay day loan company advising they have contacted me a number of times but they have filled a ccj. At first I thought it was bull !!!! until this morning I received the court letters.
So I'm a bit confused as I don't have any record of ever using a payday loan compnay. My credit report doesn't show this company but I now have a risk of a CCJ.
I need to ring the company on Monday but they only work 9-5 which is the same time as i do which is a pain.
I've found that it's not a legal requirement for a company to add anything to your credit file. Could this be used in my defence. I want to request forms and agreements but know I only have a limited time so can anyone give me some advice. Reply to the court with a defence? Ring the company?
Cheers

Legalbeagles is the place.
Don't ring them and, no, your credit file can't be used as a defence.
You can, however, do a cca request and a cpr request and acknowledge service online - legalbeagles will guide you through this.0
