Solar output down is it just me

Options
Just done my FIT return for the quarter (Apr-June) I notice my figures are well down compared with last year ... Is it just me (methinks problem with system) or apart from recently has it been cloudier than usual in NW UK?

In Bedfordshire the figures for March April May show a reduction of 5% over 2016 - but you need to get figures from someone more local to you to get a more accurate figure.

Phew.... I just worked it out!

After the first quarter a man from eon came round to read the fit meter..as they do every couple of years. In short he misread it and because he was miles out they then asked me to send a photo of the meter reading in May. This figure was then added to meter reading input page by them as the last 'meter read' amount which was in may not March! In effect 700 kph out....

However, their generation history page gives the correct March figure.

Going to watch for their FIT payments very carefully and jump on them if they have based it on the the wrong number!

Btw the actual figure we generated 200 kwh above the average recorded for the quarter!

I was going to say, based on southern England, that it might be due to excessive temperatures! But apparently not.. :-)

Hello Jackthedog and I'm sorry we misread the FIT meter.

Thank you for letting us have a photo of the meter. This will definitely help. If you do need to talk to us about this or anything else to do with your FIT account, we've a specialist team who will be happy to help. Contact details are on our website.

Sorry again for the inconvenience caused.

I didn't expect response from our doughty E.on Rep. but thanks anyway.

Actually everything workout perfectly correctly in the end especially with the usual prompt payment of the FIT from Eon
