Slippery Laminate Floor - any tips!

Hello
Admittedly not 'in my home' but thought this would be the best place to ask.
I lease a small (750 sq foot) fitness studio. I started in May.
The floor is wood effect laminate and becoming increasingly slippery (far from ideal obviously).
I think it must be s build up of oil/toiletries etc as now when I use my old floor cleaner it actually repells away!
So I'd be grateful if anyone had any suggestions for firstly different products I could try, or perhaps sanding...re-sealing etc although obviously that would mean extra expense/closing....
Thank you

  • Not sure what the best thing is to remove the oil (I remember getting polish on our old laminate floor and it would make it dangerously slippery) but if its laminate you can't sand it!

    Thank you!
    That is helpful.
Ultimately I'd like to replace it with rubber but I'm only just reaching the point where I can pay myself lol!

    Hello
I seem to have cracked it - white spirit.
Was a clients suggestion and seems to have done the trick.
