  • Hi PM,

I've really enjoyed catching up on your diary and am just popping by to congratulate you on your energy! I am truly staggered by how well you juggle everything. Your debt- busting progress is excellent. Sorry you have the added worries of the job hunt - never pleasant but good for you for knowing your worth.

  • Thanks all, thank you for the support :)

LSD today, hopefully we're still on track, need to keep an eye on the finances next couple of weeks.

Lunches made for tomorrow including mine. I also bought cereal as I think even though I'm up at 5am, I should still find time to eat breakfast, may be I won't be so hungry once I land on site?

Found out today one of my old colleagues has left my old company, more people are leaving there every month, so glad I left when I did.

Determined that this week is mine, last week was crap, I've suffered enough of those to last me a lifetime. So new start and back to the old me. I need to 'hold' the moving companies but need to get things back on track.

Thanks for giving me a gentle push
  • Morning,

As the title says, new week to play with :) 21 days to payday.

Breakfast had, just need to get myself and the kids sorted.

DH cancelled the RAC last night, we have recovery included with our cars, so that saves us £313 this year, which would've come off the Capital One card. So I'm happy that hasn't added to the debt.

Need to pay for DD's guides bits this week and I want to dig out the water rates bill and ring them to find out how much is left this year to be paid, we pay by DD so if it saves us it's got to be a good thing.

I have sorted my lunch for today and will take some snacky bits with me too, so will be a NSD and can add to my savings account.

Right off to get sorted and wake the girly.
  • Great savings there PMO2 :) and good work on the lunch, it's always harder getting out of weekend mode to get organised for the week and a NSD too - you're on a roll :D keep up the great work!

  • Evening,

DH went back to the doctors today and he's got sciatica on top of his bad back. No painkillers will work, he needs physio to fix it. So DH has triggered his company healthcare and someone will call him on Wednesday to arrange an appointment.

No news on the job front, except I got an email from one of the agencies to say I was mentioned this morning and that they hopefully will be able to do something for me...in other words, they've not got much.

Got a call from DS's school today, before the summer a letter came out about a trip to Bolonge (sp) however he was put on the reserved list. Call today was to let us know a place was available. £33 later and he's now signed up, just got forms and his passport ready for school tomorrow. One excited boy!

Nothing posted on eBay, not had time, but doing what I can to keep costs to a minimum.

As much as I hate dark mornings and trying to drive in the dark, I'm looking forward to getting in to the Christmas hype and all the build up that goes with it. It's a love/hate relationship with regards to the present buying and wrapping but generally I love the whole atmosphere.

On to tomorrow. I need to make my lunch and ensure I have breakfast. I need to check that MBNA have finally done the transfer, they keep sending DH text messages telling him what rate they can offer him....I just want them to get on with it.

Enough randomness from me tonight. Night all x
