I got the mini kandijbiscuts in mine...they're delicious, can't stop eating them :o Got an aero bar, sweets, revels, cakes, drinking chocolate, pack of noodles, pack of crisps and randomly, chewing gum with chocolate carmel in the middle! Didn't try those..

Really pleased with the soya yoghurt in my order, exactly like alpro but obviously so,so much cheaper.

Some things are dated April-July 2011, so I think I will be throwing them out. A lot of stuff is dated Sept-Dec 2011.

The milkshake is dated Dec 2011 - would that still be safe? I am not a big milk drinker, so I am tempted to throw that out as well. :/

I had hoped for more 'real' food, but it was worth the punt for £1.

Not heard anything about my refund for the missing items. Hoping they will reply tomorrow. :o

It'll all be fine to eat, don't throw it out! We had the milkshakes, DGD loves them. They are dated 12/11, but are fine. I'm really pleased with the Purina ONE cat food. My cat loves it, but at £4 a bag it was too much. Got it for £1.98 a bag from AF! :)

The only thing in that lot I would be a bit worried about would be the milkshake but I tend to use my eyes and nose for things like that. If it smells off or it looks off chuck it. All the other things will be fine. Years ago nothing had dates on and we all survived.

• Hi Approved Foods Rep,

I've had a very hard time emailing sales@approvedfood.co.uk (used both Yahoo & Gmail) & both emails have been bounced back - but one must have gotton through as I received a reply today saying I'd get a store credit for the missing items for £4.03 - but i'd prefer the money put back on my card, please. Not really happy that we don't have that as a standard option tbh. My order number is order ref: 266499.

I always find pet food pretty expensive, this site offers Iams (my cats favourite) at a fraction of supermarket prices and better than I can find on Amazon or similar.

The wholesal;er specialises in short shelf life and close to best before date items so probably why its cheap........ My Ginger tabby doesn't mind though :o

other items are pretty well priced too but I can only speak for the kitty food!

need to register first.

Mirry,
Sorry that you've been inconvenienced.
I've had a look on the DPD website but can't see what's happened to the rest of your order so I've asked the CS Dept to look into it and to get back to you.
