We've just realised that our washing-up brush is two years old today!
I do the washing-up twice a day in very hot water indeed, and I got fed up of buying a new brush every few months, so I thought I'd give one of Lakeland's "Professional" ones a go.
I can't remember exactly when we broke even on it, but we've certainly been showing a profit on washing-up brushes (if you see what I mean) for at least the last six months - and the thing still shows no sign of wearing out!
Highly recommended if you hate forever spending money on washing up brushes!

A positive attitude won't solve all your problems, but with luck it'll annoy enough people to make the effort worthwhile.

Sorry, should have said. We got the two for £5.99 ones, which I seem to recall were cheaper than that at the time.
Maybe by the time I need to start the second one, the price will have gone up again so we'll have saved even more!A positive attitude won't solve all your problems, but with luck it'll annoy enough people to make the effort worthwhile.0 -
I use the Vileda ones - they usually last us at least a year and cost 99p.
Then our Hootys shop closed and I shall have to lash out £2 each at Sainsbugs.
Oh well .. still better than buying the cheapos that have bristles that clag up!!Normal people worry me.0 -
