My little 2nd gen nano freezes sometimes, it says it's playing but no sound comes out. I find that just letting the battery die normally works as when I put it back into the docking station afterwards it starts working fine again! It's been doing it for nearly 2 years now and is a slight inconvenience every now and again but not worth me buying a new ipod yet. Hope this helps!
There is a way you can force them to turn off, i think holding menu & play at the same time for 20 seconds or something. Mine freezes once im a while

Feeling great today, closed another credit card down have went from 5 to 2 !

Also found out i got a payrise giving me an extra £120 a month so that will be going straight to credit cards. I have decided it is not outwith the realms of possibility if i really push and stay on track to get rid of the full £12911 by end of Nov mid dec but got to stay totally [STRIKE]obsessed[/STRIKE] focused !!!!

I will move house next year no matter what so this is getting gone :D

Also update is small but anything counts £6080/£12911
#28 pay all your debts by Xmas 2019 £2682/7000:)
    #66 2019 MFW £90/£7500

Well, I was hoping to reduce my overdraft today but missed the bank! So first debt update is not as high as I'd like but in the right direction:

    £106/3486 3.05%

Also, I started paying into my company pension scheme 4 months ago, and I've been noticing it's coming off after tax - I'm such a newbie to the whole pension thing, but I was sure it was meant to come off before tax? Can anyone explain it to me? I don't want to make a big thing about it with my employer and then just look like a silly moo!

I am sooooooooooooooooo happy I have managed to pay off my MBNA CC a whole month earlier than I thought I would!

This means that a personal debt I have been paying for the last 5 years will be cleared next month! I feel as if I have been paying this FOREVER & I'm just really looking forward to getting rid of another one! This will be a month earlier than expected aswell which mean that extra money each month can go straight towards other debts.

So an update of what has been paid as follows:-

MBNA £209.79 - Final Payment
    Santander £100.00
    Very £205.00
    Personal £160.00
    SAAS £30.00
    Hitachi £132.03

This means my total debt remaining is £4829.69!

    138 :j Deleted_User £3,701,78 / £8,531.47 34.98%

    138 Deleted_User 3 / 36lbs

Not doing so well on the old diet front but hey ho! It will go eventually haha!

    Dxxx

I think it is before tax because I remember when I joined my current company (this was 5 years ago though) they said they match up to 5% of my salary plus 50% of the tax and NI they don't have to pay on the contribution. Although I don't know if that is off my contribution or their matching contribution.

Just email payroll and ask nicely, say you weren't sure but you thought it was before tax? I'm sure they won't mind.

See now I know you both are actually secretly dying to make your own bra's now! just a word to the wise . . . remove the hook bit at the top before you bend the wire into shape or you could have some funny looks in the office the next day :rotfl:

*starts to try and think how you could bend a wire coat hanger into an underwire shape* you realise if we all made casts of our chests, our bras would fit much better than shop bought ones :D

Hi there. I know exactly what you mean. Previous to my LBM I was spending £80 to £100 per week at Tescos and there are only 2 of us (plus 4 cats). Since then I've started a little circuit going to Lidl, Aldi and then Asda (for branded stuff). I did some calculations to compare which came up with Tesco £61 and the same/equivalent from Aldi £39.

This is exactly like me! Minus the cats and the other person :( I used to get by on a tenner when I lived near a Lidl, now it's more like £30 plus a top up visit for salads (gotta be kind to the waistline!). I rediscovered Aldi a few weeks ago :j best possible thing for my purse!
