I cannot believe that Carrie Fisher has died. I am really upset by this news. Our family are huge Star Wars fans. I really thought she was going to be ok  It has just been the worst year for celebrity deaths. :(

It's been totally shocking hasn't it? A few of my favourite celebrities have passed away this year. I'll be glad when it's over. But then a new year won't stop people from dying. Makes you stop and appreciate your loved ones, make the most of every day with them. Death doesn't care about age. xx

My monthly payment has now been paid and I've also made a £600 OP :j:j That's £3K I've OP'd this year. Less than I wanted but a lot better than nothing.

I've also gone online and got a new 5 year fixed rate deal, starting in April. This is subject to me accepting, which I probably will. It's 1.9%, which is pretty much the same interest rate as I'm paying now, so no real difference in monthly payments.

I've (nearly) emptied my paypal account and used that towards the OPing. I only have £24 in there now :(

Looking forward to a New Year, more OPs, less mortgage!

Just had Christmas Dinner (again) as DS1 was working on Christmas Day until 8.30pm and didn't get to have one :(

I hadn't had breakfast or lunch today, not through choice but because I was busy doing other things and didn't get round to it. But after our dinner I'm glad I didn't. I feel total stuffed :o

Well, one more day then it's all over...

Thanks Rachiedabbler70. An OP of £1250 is better than nothing :)
_party_ Happy New Year to everyone _party_

Started the New Year off by getting out of bed at 12.30pm :j Had a cup of tea and some toast. Trying to be good foodwise. Watched The Force Awakens, Probably won't do anything too strenuous today, not feeling hungover, but very tired. Weighed myself today and have put on 3lbs over the festive period. Nothing to do with the 2 snowballs, 2 mudslides and snacky things last night...

Surveys off to a good start. Managed to get £2.40 for 1 survey today :j But Swagbucks is pants today :(

Getting hungry now so may have something to eat and another cup of tea :D

Trying to type quietly as DH is fast asleep next to me!! Today has not been very mse. Couldn't find my bus pass this morning (lent it to DH on Monday). Had to pay £5  My yearly one works out at around £1.50 per day. Eventually found it when I came home. It was under a pile of tat next to the computer! Then I had to pay £21 for DS2 to go bowling as part of his p.e. lessons.

But I have sold a couple of bits on Amazon & eBay so not all doom and gloom ;)

Best get to sleep, work tomorrow.
