I have a reply to another e-mail I sent today. I asked them to confirm a dispatch date or refund my payment. Said I had already emailed and had had no response.

He said my order had been sent in mid September and he would investigate why it hadn't reached me but would at the same time send me a replacement in next couple of days.

So my tip is be polite but firm - give them a week to either send the goods or refund you. Refer to any earlier e-mails you sent and have not had a response to.

Of course I won't hold my breath until it arrives.

I ordered it and it arrived on Saturday. Got pretty much all the items that are referred to in the article on MSE. There's the odd item I won't use - can't see me using gold eyeliner - but everything else seems usable to me. Some of the nail colours may not be to everyone's taste and there were 12 of them in my order.

Genuinely good offer, I think, given prices elsewhere... If you don't like the scents, and are willing to pay more, they're on Achica at the moment for £12 each (plus P&P), along with their gift sets and reed diffusers.

Anyone tried them before? I've not, but love the idea of some of the scents (though also not necessarily the three in the box!). Reviews / comments online seem pretty favourable. But I always find candles a risk - even if they smell nice in the box, doesn't mean they'll burn nicely scented!
