Rising, good luck for tomorrow, wrap up warm and take a good book.
Beanie, two punctures at the same time is awful! How on earth did you get home?

A miracle happened today, DH actually listened to me when I said don't buy anything unless we really need it and he didn't buy anything from the cash & carry! So that makes NSD 3 for me today.

Welcome to all our new friends. Good luck in catching lots of nsd's.

  • NSD 3 for me today, unfortunately I secumbed to a

box of reduced chocolate eclairs in Mr T's yesterday and I'd

only gone in to do work shopping which doesn't count as a
spend as it's on expenses. Ggrrr:mad:

Supermarket day tomorrow so won't be a nsd. Hopefully see you all on Saturday with number 4:)

Bdini - I take it that was the official meeting with union rep present? What is your rep's take on the situation? Have your employers given you a warning about your conduct, seeing as you say they don't believe anything you have said? If they have given you some kind of official warning then you should have the chance to appeal against it. And how has the other party behaved towards you during the investigation and since yesterday? Are other people in the same department as you behaving strangely towards you?

What I am getting at with the above is - can you appeal? Will your union back you all the way? Or, if it has to end here and you cannot pursue things any further, can you continue to work in the same job in the same department without feeling uncomfortable around your colleagues? Or could you get a transfer to another area where you will not come into contact with the other party?

Or is it time to cut your losses and start looking for another job?
Sometimes the battle just isn't worth the personal cost.

Nothing much is going to happen this side of Christmas, unless the other party gets over-confident and makes a stupid mistake. Somehow, whatever you decide to do, you will need to find the strength to go into work with a smile on your face and be pleasant and polite to everyone you meet, and do your job to 100% perfection with dignity and class, so nobody can criticise you for anything. A tough job, but if they see you calm and cheerful, the guilty ones will be worrying about what you are up to.....Only you can decide whether you have enough chutzpah to carry it off.

We're all rooting for you, kiddo!

    Good evening folks,

Thanks to everyone for the hugs and good wishes etc. My mum had a heart operation on Tuesday and is on the mend, so things are good. I am declaring NSDs 2, 3 and 4 for the week:). BDNI, I hope you get the work problem sorted out soon, as it's horrible to be in that position:(
Beanie, that was horrible luck with the punctures:(
I'm sending you and anyone else who needs them hugs:)
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
