i am classed as a worker, cash in hand £50pw but is a permanent position.
i need payslips for my mortgage renewal but as im not on the payroll as an employee can my boss still give me a payslip showing my wage?
I only ask as i earn below the thesh-hold, so NI & tax is unnecessary

How do you know?
£50/week would be OK if it were a few hours a week. The OP didn't say how much time they spent on this job.
I wonder what the OP meant by "permanent" and "worker". I would expect that if they are actually permanent then they would be an employee. A worker would be casual, even if they worked fairly regularly.
Paying so little means not having to report every pay period but they should still be keeping records and providing payslips.0 -

If you are not being taxed on PAYE (even if tax due is zero) You must submit a self assessment to HMRC>I am not a cat (But my friend is)0
