Cheers Ed.
Well left home at 7.30, sat down finally at 5.45.
All children exhausted and the Puppylove and Plops.
I would post a pic but am not allowed yet.
Here are five rules of etiquette for PC parents
* do not insist your child moves up a group
* do not coach your child during the lesson
* do not take an infant in the arena
* do not sit randomly in the middle of the arena and then play on your 'phone for an hour
* do not try to flog totally unsuitable ponies to smallholding sister for her seven year old because you have forgotten she has seen them kicking, bucking and broncing.0 -
Hurray you're on a roll! Welcome to MFW, Oh Newbie
As for hardcore ... I always think about Hypno, who was repaying huge amounts of debt, sometimes with interest rates of 25%, but she insisted her kids shouldn't suffer, and they got their skiing holidays and school trips etc. And you're not even in debt in that way! But you're sort of doing the same thing, so good luck to you2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Pony club mothers :rotfl:Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Not sure what I missed, but welcome to your new diary0

Ooh, a nice new home:j
Regarding hardcore-ness.
If there's no debt emergency situation going on, I think a MFW person can be as hardcore or soft core as they like, the decision is theirs and nobody else's.Early retired - 18th December 2014
If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough0 -
I agree with Goldie. However, if your small holding dreams are to come true, at the same time as your children become more and more expensive, then going hardcore with the other expenses is pretty much necessary....! Don't get me started on the costs involved in growing three small people into big, strong, accomplished adults!Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -

Welcome SHS!
Looking forward to reading your new adventures.
I second Goldie about being hardcore - it's your own decision.
