It's that time again, school holidays :rotfl:
Here is our plan to get through the first week without doing an impression of old mother Hubbard.
Sunday- Piri piri half chicken with hm vegetable fried rice
Monday- Corned beef pie with chips and peas
Tuesday- Sausage carbonara
Wednesday- Chicken curry and turmeric rice with HF prawn crackers
Thursday- LO stirfry with spring rolls and samasos
Friday-HM pizza and garlic and cheese dough balls
Saturday- Piri piri chicken with jacket potatoes and salad
Lunches will be HM quiches, HM bacon and cheese pasty squares and egg mayo sarnies. I'll also make a spicy chicken and rice soup with the carcasses from the chickens. I might make some cheese and onion pasties if I make too much mash for the corned beef pie.
Snacks will be crisps, biscuits and dry fruit with hm yoghurt. I also have some pate to go on crackers.
I'll need to buy more squash as it just evaporates while the kids are off. I need salad and fruit as well but I hope to get through until Thursday on less than £12 spend.
What are you all having this week?

I've gone through the cupboards / fridge / freezer today and made an inventory of what we have in stock as I would like to spend as little as possible next week. So far the shopping list is looking pleasing
Our meal plan is looking like this:
Su: gammon, roast potatoes, mash potatoes, savoury pasta, carrots, cheesy leeks, yorkshire puddings, gravy.
Mo: pasta bake (using the rest of the gammon), garlic bread
Tu: spicy chicken niblets, noodles or baked beans
