Hi
I know things are changing in relation to eu calling etc but...

My friend was flying out to Tenerife this morning, I gave them a call just recently just to check they was there safe and sound.

I rang there number and it rang normally ( not that sound you get when you ring a phone abroad ) so I asked " o have you been delayed or something ?"

They replied they were in Tenerife already !!!

So has the dial tone you get for ringing a mobile abroad changed ?

This was from a Virgin network To a O2 network

Sometimes it's a continental style tone, sometimes 'normal' UK style. I don't know if any particular circumstances dictate which one you will hear.
    Evolution, not revolution
