forgot to cancel direct debit

Stupidly Paid breakdown cover direct debit to the AA on a car which was not cancelled when car was sold in 2014. So 3 years of payments. Can I get a refund ?

  • If you can show proof of when you sold the car, there's a chance they may refund, you'd have to ask.
Did you buy another car? Would the policy have covered it?

Did you have a policy that covered you or covered the car?

Well then you could politely ask for a refund. Supply proof of the date you sold the car.

The AA are under no obligation to comply, of course.
