Sorry for your loss zippychick. Hope you are doing okay.

I've been missing due to family member dying. Budget kinda went out the window but I needed time to grieve.

May goes from 24th of April till the 28th of May for the two of us.

    Budget £250.

I'm lurking on the April thread until May starts.

Please may I join this month? My target is £200 so I can put £50 towards our debt and our month starts on 28th April. This is for 2 adults and 2 children with 2 of us gluten free so more expensive. All the recipes and links will keep me busy tomorrow.

My condolences to zippychick and January_23. I hope May is a better month for you both

    Hi,

First time posting on this site so I hope I'm doing it right! Have been following the April board and decided to take the plunge this month!
I'd like to set my budget at £350 for the month, which for me runs from Friday 24th April - Friday 29th May. This is for a family of 4, myself my partner, and our nearly 5 year and almost 2 year old boys. I am currently 34 weeks pregnant so eating too many deserts and may add some nappies & wipes to this months shops...

5 weeks month so I think it'll be tight but I have a relatively full freezer & pantry. I've also gotten back into shopping at Aldi after a wee hiatus!

    Thanks

    Morning all,

Yay shiny new thread :j big thanks to everyone who keeps the thread running and on track :)
Please can I go for £130 again this month; a couple of birthdays to contribute to a treating my parents to a few days at our caravan so there will be a couple of treats :) The month runs April 24th - May 25th in line with pay days. Just had a random thought and that works out at £4.19 per day which in my mind isn't as much as expected considering how much we seem to go through!

Made my shopping list last night and noted next to ach thing which shop I need to buy it from to make the most of offers etc. Bf will be away for 2 consecutive weeks in May though so there will be a fair few freezer/cheap meals those weeks and hopefully I'll clear the freezer down a little :)

Sorry for your losses Zippy and January_23.
