Januaray NSD Challenge 2018 1st Jan 18 at 10:34 AM
I created this thread as I couldnt see one for December. I dont own this challenge but know others would like to see a January one.

This challenge is about setting yourself a weekly / monthly target of how many No Spend Days you would like to try and achieve during the month of January.
Keep us updated with your progress and hope you all have a great start to the new year.

    To join,
just post your personal target and you are on your way.

    Tips for the challenge;
    1. Decide on a clear goal weekly or monthly of how many No Spend days you'd like to try and achieve

    2. Create a list of allowances...What counts as a spend and what doesn't. Keep the list on you so you don't fall of the wagon or make exceptions for everything

    3. Keep a tally of how many NSDs you get. See if you can beat your previous amount!
    Debt to fiancee - £404.00 (left to pay) | Save £12,000 in 2018 - £371.90 all together|2,018 items in 2018 (8/2,018)

    Was a spend day today.

I brought some wrapping paper , 8 rolls to be exact. 25p each even the 10meter rolls in pound stretcher.

I brought a drying mat for £1 as the pots and pans take up all the room of our drying rack, a thermal sandwhich bag for work and some clips for the freezer.
2 food trays for upstairs- we eat upstairs and i get so annoyed with crumbs

Had some bargains today so don't really mind. Our shopping was cheaper than expected

    Morning,

Back to work today as much as I love the company and the site I'm on I could still have done with another day off.

Still aiming for a NSD today but will update later.

    Have a great day everyone.

Hi i'd like to join please. Really need to get my spends under control!
Not sure how to do this as I am responsible for the shopping which comes out our joint account. I think for this month, I won't include any shopping, only spends that are coming out of my personal account.

I'd like to commit to 10 NSD's please.

Looking forward to seeing how everyone gets on!

    Thank you.
