Hi all... Busy bees here as DS2 was back to school today and DS1 starts at secondary school tomorrow. School Calendars misalign as my children go to school in different counties!

I managed £10 in eBay sales for some stuff I have been relisting for weeks!

I'm back to usual listing tomorrow after a few days of spring cleans around the boys rooms... I have lots of eBay stock now... Tonnes of ski wear etc too... I always wait til it's seasonal again...

    I had 2p roadkill too...

A slow start to the month with just £55 total so far... I need to up my game! I did have a long PPI chat with our claims company on the phone and also have potentially sold a few things locally... Will see how that goes (might be £25 & £35 hopefully)

I'm applying for a job tomorrow so fingers crossed...
    Make £/day March: £1490.85 / £310

Happy that logging a claim with Topcashback for missing cashback was finally successful. Still waiting for it to be marked as payable rather than just confirmed, but fingers crossed for this month! Not much else happening here.. need to seriously up my game!

  • OH was making a start on clearing out stuff from one of his Aladdin's Cave sheds yesterday (at gunpoint:rotfl:). He unearthed a recurve archery bow and various other bits of archery equipment that belongs to me and that he was 'storing' for me. When he 'stores' anything of mine it ends up never being seen again:eek:. He's had these in there for a few years and to be honest I'd completely forgotten I had them:o. Thankfully everything is in excellent condition, the rain and mice haven't done any damage:j.

I used to be a member of an archery club with some work colleagues back in the day and one of the members who was giving up the sport through age gave me this equipment. I found it impossible to handle the bow so used to hire equipment from the club as the stuff I have in the shed was too big for me and the draw weight was more suitable for a strapping man not a 5 ft 2 inch woman:eek:. I decided not to buy my own equipment either as I didn't know how long my participation would last, the job in that far-away location being temporary.

Apparently an archery club is being set up fairly locally, we had a flyer through the letterbox at the weekend. I'm going to make enquiries about maybe selling my equipment to them. They usually have a range of bows for beginners and casual members to try out;).

That must be a contender for the unusual sales list if you get it sold!

Great to read your DH has actually made a start - sending clear-out vibes to assist the arm-twisting :rotfl:

If there's an archery club starting up nearby maybe you'll be tempted to go along and join in eh
