Hi
I have a knackered tube light in the garage. After weeks of thinking it was the tube (and replacing that) someone told me that the starter switch may have gone - the what I said?...
Anyway I found the switch and it states 4-80W / 220V-240V - looks like its been in there for years. I was looking for a replacement at B&Q and only found 4-65W. Do I need a 4-80W or will any do?.....yes I am clueless !!!
thanks

4-65W will do a 5' fitting. 6' fittings require a 4-80W.0

The starter needs to match the tube.

If in doubt, the wattage of the tube is normally printed on the tube itself, near one end.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0
