Hi my husband and I were discharged from BR last year and we're now in the process of cleaning up our credit files using the info and letter template from here. I have the paperwork ready to go and for joint debts planned to send one letter signed by both of us with a copy of each discharge letter. Will this be accepted or should we send one each?
Thanks
Thanks

A joint one is fine if the account was held in that capacity.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thanks for the quick reply. That's great. Will save me a few pounds on postage. 😜0

Hi Skint98,
Just to clarify, you would only need to send a copy of your discharge letter to the credit reference agencies and not your creditors. Also, if you wish to file a financial disassociation from each other, now the debts are all cleared, that can be done with the credit agencies too.
