Hi guys,
Everyone is doing soooo well.
Although I've spent hardly anytime decluttering today the list looks rather impressive
Ear plugs - useless - bin
National trust 2014 handbook - RC
14 Novels which I won't re-read and have no trade-in value - CS
A pair of net curtains which has been in the linen cupboard since we moved in 10 years ago  - CS
A large bottle of laundry liquid - used and put into RC. I don't normally include normal RC stuff, but this laundry liquid has been in the cupboard for years as I wasn't impressed with its cleaning power. So to have finally used it up and got rid of the huge bottle from the cupboard is brilliant.
3 more to go til I hit 200. I'm determined to do it tonight, even if I have to declutter DH :rotfl:0 -
Slowly getting over my cold, really want to go into full on attack-declutter-rampage mode but I need a sit down every 10 minutes. Think I might have been more ill than I realised.
Anyway, a little update....
390, 391, 392 three magazines sold on tatbay
393 pair of trainers sold on tatbay
And either binned or recycled:
394 disposable razor disposed of
395 dead bra, I will really miss that one and it's long discontinued
396 pair of knickers with an inexplicable hole
397, 398, 399 400 tatty jiffy bags, tissue paper, cardboard boxes, odd sheets of cardboard. Just a load of old packaging I was keeping for tatbay sales but it's all a bit too manky I think.
401 some scraps of ribbon
And for the weekend jumble sale :
402 necklace
403 lunchbox
404 & 405 cookbooks
406 plastic crate / basket / thing I don't even really know WHAT that was2016: No Clutter to Be Seen 805/2016

Hi haybel19 .
There are no rules around here.We are a friendly bunch. We are all just getting things done at our own pace.People do it differently. Some people list and number what they get rid of (setting goals/seeing how far they have come). Some people just say "got rid of bits from kitchen/kitchen drawer/kitchen clutter corner etc),work room by room or area by area, others do random bits as they go along. It is up to you.Everyone is very supportive .SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Hiya everyone
Welcome aboard Haybel.
I think it's up to you how you do it and when. Some seem to set a target and others number everything they put out.
I just count the items put out and add to the total in my signature but I do not count regular recycling such as newspapers, empty bottles and cartons as I was putting them out anyway.
Today I did the last of my drawers in the bedroom and a couple of bits :j
Out today ................all to cs
12 x tee-shirts/tops
swimming costume - don't like it
book
kindle cover - surplus
Hope you all have a throw-it-out Thursday

Was desperate to throw something out today,so opened a kitchen cupboard, wondering what was on the top shelf I haven't reached up to for years.
577 a very basic (metal) vegetable steamer.one of the pieces had fallen off-out for recycling
578 another identical vegetable steamer with a piece that had fallen off-out for recycling
Also threw out a small water-pistol that I must have hidden up there from the kids at least 5-6 years ago.I'm not counting it (like I don't count pieces of obvious rubbish or regular recycling),but it was binned.
Did end up going out to the park with the kids, which everyone enjoyed. Two kids on bikes, one on scooter, one on Heelies. Also ended up setting the older kids up to make loaves of bread.Listed stuff to sell on Facebook, had a flurry of people interested in two items (like about 12 expressions of "Oh yes please,I will message you" in an hour).Still working my way through the list of interested parties, trying to find someone interested enough to come and collect it  .SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

251. New dry cat and dog food arrived so all the boxes out for recycling collection.
252. Another old hand towel used for cleaning the kitchen floor with vinegar as I bought two new hand towels online so they all match now. The old ones were a weird green colour and they had marks (from I think mascara) on them.
253. Old pair of DH's socks given to the dog to play with and the remains will be binned later.:p
I just count the items put out and add to the total in my signature but I do not count regular recycling such as newspapers, empty bottles and cartons as I was putting them out anyway.
I have to list the everyday items or I wouldn't have anything to list as I got rid of so much carp last year. :D It's OCD of me but wish I had listed it all as it must have been 1000 items at least.HOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000
