Minecratft for less than £2!!

Hi all

Can't provide a link as a new user but still wanted to share, go to HotUKDeals and search Minecraft

Grabbed this yesterday myself and can confirm its the full Windows 10 edition

Needs to be pointed out that minecraft windows 10 edition is not the full PC version of the game. Its based on the pocket edition so cannot support mods. The vast majority of PC users of the game will use mods so this isnt that good a deal. Its a lesser (much lesser)version of the game at a lesser price.

Well the java version has new features (a lot of them different) and more active mod support.
but Minecraft for Windows 10 does support mods, custom texture packs, custom skins and public servers.
Its a little hard finding some of the details as most of the search results are still aimed towards the Java users

For public servers, you can connect to the Minecraft PE servers if they're up to date, and you can run your own via free software
Lots of public servers and texture packs, just google Minecraft PE textures or servers

Maybe not all the Java mods are available, but still quite a few

Also if someone already has the Java version this wouldn't exactly be aimed at them
