New faulty washer from argos floods downstairs

Hello im trying to get any advice .i bougjt a washing machine it was delivered tuesday and over nigjt flooded my downstairs .they sent service man oit friday and he took my carpet up and put on front im left with cold hard concrete living room floor in minus tempetures i have appointment for service man to write report on washer in morning .buts its 22 days till christmas its cost a fortune at laundrette and extra gas to try dry house i asked for rug for floor so my two year old had some kind area they said no 3 times i went to branch i purchused and manager got aproval and they said would be fast track delivered by ten pm but hasnt arrived .my house is upside down i have piles of dirty clothes no washer no carpet what do i do help
