Last day of our holiday, heading home tomorrow.

Over purchased on food for the self catering holiday, so some of the stuff (a handful of items) will be coming home with us to be worked into next weeks meal plan.

Holiday spends are within budget, this included a trip to the on site spa for me (£20) and two paid for activities for LO (£15) during periods of heavy rain.

Still no new onepoll surveys, so I'm still sitting at £39.90 :(

Bank accounts and budget have been reconciled and £11.18 has been sent over to savings, bringing savings to £1267.91/£3000.

In other news, onepoll is still at £39.90 with no surveys at all coming in.

This seems to be a common problem.

I think they blacklist you for a few weeks to see if you give up, or maybe it's waiting until they have enough cash to pay you.

Thanks for the heads up phillw, it's a bit blooming naughty if you ask me.

I wonder if a lot of people do give up on it? Hmmm . . . I will persist ;)

Back home from a lovely few days away. Very well timed, as the rest and family time out was much needed. We're all recharged and ready to get back into the swing of things.

We have under-spent on the holiday budget by £29.75, so I have transferred the same amount to the savings via internet banking. Savings now at £1297.66/£3000.

:j I have finally hit £40 on OnePoll and have requested the £££! :j
The £40 will be sent to savings upon arrival.

Now to get the unpacking done and the washing machine going :D

Weekly shop done yesterday and came in just shy of £39.

NSD today. Lots of baking done, treats for the week ahead and I just need to do a packed lunch for work tomorrow to keep the NSDs coming.

NSD planned for Tuesday too, Wednesday will see a spend for a petrol top up and fresh milk.

NSD's achieved Sunday, Monday and today.

Spends planned for tomorrow - £20 petrol (will last until month end) and a small shop to get some fresh milk, use up some Asda Price Guarentee vouchers (nearly £6 worth) and get OH a bottle of wine or something for fathers day.

I will put together a meal plan for next week and add some non-perishables to tomorrow's list to make the most of the vouchers.

Current account has also been rounded down (£2.70) and moved to savings :o

Thursday, Friday and Saturday have also been earmarked as NSD's and I have also signed up for some OT on Saturday to bring some more money into the pot.

Right, off to grab a cuppa and read some MF diaries for inspiration.

    :jIt's Friday!!!

£40 spent this week on petrol and food top up (included a Father's Day gift). Free activities have been on the cards this week, with a visit to the park, a trip to the local library and yesterday was spent sorting out the back garden and weeding the driveway at the front. It looks great (if I do say so myself).

We have stuck to the menu plan this week, which is great, but I will do the shop for next week tomorrow evening as we are out all day on Sunday visiting dads and grandads.

OT booked for tomorrow, which will add more money to the coffers at the end of the month. :D

I hope everyone has a fab weekend!

Just checking in quickly to update the diary. Managed NSDs on Saturday and today.

Sunday I did a grocery shop, which will take us through until payday.

Right off to cool down :cool2:

    Good afternoon!

NHS household is chuntering along to payday. Draft budget has been put together for July and will be finalised once I have confirmation of the Net pay.

NSD on Tuesday, I did make a spend yesterday to buy a tallboy for the bathroom as I found what I was looking for at half the price of others I have seen - good old aldi.

3 items have been listed on ebay today and £5.35 has been requested from quidco. This money has been earmarked for the savings account.

Out tonight for a meal with friends, which will be nice (planned spend on OH budget). Nanny is having LO and is treating her to a chippy tea.

Right, I better go and check for new surveys and scout out some more ebayable items.

    Hi,

I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

3 more items listed on eBay today and I have another two to be cleaned and listed - that will be a job for tomorrow.

Today has been spent trying to get a few bits moving, 1 item dropped at the charity shop. A couple of toys LO no longer plays with will be donated to her nursery for other children to enjoy (train set etc) and have been put in the boot ready for Monday.

I am trying to keep minimising the house to only store things we need and love (although I won't be minimising to only a stark white box). I just need the house to feel calmer. Is it just me or does this stuff just appear/breed?
I mean I'm not climbing over things to get anywhere like some of the extreme programmes they show you on tv, but it seems to be an ongoing task.

Next month will see some more carpet being laid on the stairs, landing and box room to complete the upstairs. The living room can wait for a while as there seems to be a flurry of people spilling drinks at the minute and it would be  on a new carpet.

I have earmarked a decent chunk of change to be sent to the mortgage on payday and am getting excited to see the mortgage coming down again :D

Right, off to get the ironing done.
