Just been told by solicitors assistant "report on the contract and title deeds are on solicitors desk" - is this nearing our final stage? Don't really understand what happens now/next?

Getting them on the phone is proving difficult - they seem to like doing things by email.0 -
Are you in a chain? Honestly this question is pretty much how long is a piece of string. You could be ready but no one else.
In theory you're close to being ready, unless there are issues in the searches or title. You really need to speak to your sol. Can you go in if they ignore your emails and phone calls.0
