Wanna make money on eBay? Well you are about 5 years too late. The bubble burst years ago. UK powersellers are dropping like flies.
The Chinese sell direct from factory thesedays so you have no chance of competition, plus eBay no longer has the cool factor. Its now basically the worlds biggest flea market. People keep it low when they buy stuff from there - if they buy.
Credit crunch has further added to it, folks are no longer buying anything they dont really need. People are thinking more before purchasing, no more trigger happy impulsive buyers out there.
Oh Tescos is employing more staff if you wanna make a bob or 2.0 -
I wonder if zpodent and tightwadman are one and the same...?<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0

There is still good money to be made if you know your market, have an excellent reputation within that market and know how to market and sell.
For me the credit crunch has meant that I've had to tweak but the volume and profit have not taken a hit (yet).Terms & Conditions Apply0 -

I'm assuming tightwadman is someone that disagrees with your point of view. Believe it or not there may be more than one of us. Dry your eyes.0 -

Things that I have found to sell well are
1. Recent DVDs
2. Recent books
3. Decent used clothes (eg Boden)and clothes with labels still attached
4. Rare or out of print books
5. Rare or out of production DVDs
6. Handbags!! The more designery the better.
Hope that helps.Me transmitte sursum, caledoni0 -
