So the will was read out...

Nothing left for me and my brother at this point in time, but when my dad passes on, then there will be.

My boyfriend and I have decided to look for our first place together though, as my parents want to move away and we both have strong connections to the local area.

He has been applying for every job under the sun and I have registered with a few letting agents in the area.

I am fully aware of the costs of running a place of our own and I am fully prepared for it.

I have already started preparing for it also. 6 days before payday and I still have money left from my previous payday!

As of next payday I am cutting out every single unneccesary spend, no lunches out, no after work coffees/milkshakes, no nothing. We have food here I can use to make lunch, I can have a coffee before I leave and when I get home and if I want to have a treat I will buy the things and make it :o

It's catch the bus week this week and my local operator is giving 10% off tickets on their app so I will make the most of that :D

EDIT: I use the bus to get to and from work so it won't be an unnecessary expense :rotfl:

Not much doing here. Have tidied and thrown out as I go, so have ditched a handful of magazines. Oh has ditched a pair of jeans and also I have thrown out is some of his old underpants. I am still using up the toiletry mountain and have started on the freezers as I have one that needs badly defrosting.

Oh,I have had such a productive day-I am so pleased :j.Because of the way I have been cleaning/decluttering over the last few weeks, the house is actually staying tidier for longer.:j:j:j:j:j.So,today is Sunday, the day I normally spend alllllllllllllll day and might only get, say, the kitchen and one or two other rooms cleaned, plus loads of washing.
Well, the house was looking quite good (one kid's bedroom decluttered within an inch of it's life a few weekends ago, and is still in order.Same with front room and kitchen
So,today ,I was able to tidy, dust and vacuum 3 bedrooms belonging to 4 kids, clean 2 bathrooms, vacuum downstairs, stairs and top landing, wash 4 loads of clothes, and dry and put away 3 of them (where as usually the Mt Washmore usually hangs around for days and days and days before being folded and put away).I have also mostly finished in the kitcehn.Nothing needs doing in the front room.
Mind you,all this is only as a result of decluttering that has taken me sice October .But it has definitely paid off..
Countable things out of the house today:

    Binned:
    887:Easter chick decoration
888:test tube of "potion" that 8yo made at school
889-890:2 boxes of Fun Snaps that have hung around for far too long
    891:non-working calculator (another one!)
    892:wicker ball.Don't know where from
893-894:2 bits of tat from posh Christmas crackers

    Recycled:
    895:old calender
896:Olly Murs poster. My now 15yo used to have this huge poster on the ceiling of her bedroom. Now chucked out.My babies are growing up :(.

You may remember I am doing a seperate count for decluttering my loft.I have been up and down that loft ladder a few times this week, and the loft is in the biggest mess ever.So \I have told myself I am going to start decluttering from there again as well.Started small today with
134-135: 2 small cardboard boxes, kept for "just in case".Out for recycling.I should have got rid of alot more, since it is bin collection day tomorrow :D.

I keep thinking that once the kids go to bed,I will get so much decluttering done.I have the best laid plans in my head.
What actually happens is I am so busy with the kids all day, then by the time they go to bed,I don't always see the point in starting some of the big projects I had in my head.
Tonight, all I have done is sort out a stable-table/tray thing that had a few random bits on it from my younger daughters' room. There were books to be returned to school, colouring pens to be returned to their bedroom, birthday cards (which I have always kept,so I have set them aside),books to be returned to their bedroom.
Only took about 30 minutes to sort, and I will count it as one item item,so tally now up to 899.
