The trick to the above is to make sure its an regular donation (not one off) and select £1 in the box that says 'other' and then hit the go button after that and you will see direct debit form/process. Make sure you select pay "annually" on both charities, I think red cross limit is £2 but I end up paying £3 a year on both charities and the 2 DD work just fine.

I tried oxfam and rspca and many other charaties but they force you donate monthly, clicking single shows just a debit card so won't work.

So even though you only pay once a year, as the DD is set up to pull so its valid? Does it pay £3 straight away or do you set a date for it to go?

Depends on what account you have set these up for, Santander will be okay along with Barclays blue rewards as they require DD to be set up, but for Halifax, BOS, Lloyds, and COOP they require DD to be paid each calendar month, so would not qualify for interest or reward payments.

Still trying to set up DD's from my Tesco Internet and Instant Access saver. Its been 2 weeks now. After getting the message saying they will contact me in 5 days I have called 3 times and despite being assured someone would call me back I had to call again. Seemingly it has been passed to the Fraud Dept for them to look at and I might have to send them hard copies of statements from my BOS accounts. This despite the fact I have paid money into my Tesco a/cs from the said BOS accounts. I'm just glad I found out about the BOS wanting 2 DD's from Sept onwards and am having the problems now.

I am having the same problem which led me to this thread to see if anyone else was:mad:

OK I have set up a £1 monthly with Little Debits. If it's a scam, I'll claim it back under the DD guarantee. We will see....

are you trying to set up DD with BOS that is not your account? this tends to produce the the warning, if they are investigating if its your account you are trying to set up.

Yes this was the case, but they have tightened up now, due to the interest paid and probably due to changes in banking accounts interest, its been mentioned that originally you could link up any account to pull into the account.

Its a loophole that Tesco has decided to close/re-evaluate.

Lets hope they don't pull the facility to use DD, as a funding method!!

How long does it take to change the details of a Direct Debit? I've just set up two DDs with Tesco to pull from my FlexDirect Account.

I'm in the process of opening a new FlexAccount as a Donor Account to switch to M&S.

07/10/16 (10 days from now) is the earliest that I can set up the DDs. If my new Flex Account is set up soon can I amend the account details over to the new Flex Account more quickly than it takes to set up a new mandate or does a change of details actually set up a new mandate?
