Morning again peeps. Went out to post some mail (it is blowing a gale). Got to where post box should have been and it wasn't there. Metal pole it sat on was there but no box. What is that all about? Are P.O reducing the number of boxes?. Had to walk up to box at Post Office. Was going to go in to ask about it but it was really busy.

    Well done Rose.

Great you made it out FireFly. DH went shopping for a few bits earlier but I didn't venture out. Turned cold here too.

Hi Stephanie good luck with comps.

Mmm...coffee and a cob sounds delicious fire**fly and so much nicer when you're out and about to eat it. :) That does seem odd them moving PO but not post box! DD1 thought it was hilarious that the bus shelter had gone down the lane as it was there this morning! She actually thought someone had pinched it! :o It took a lot of explaining to her that workmen had moved it temporarily!

Welcome back StephanieCarr and fingers crossed for that car win! I think the majority of comps now are fb and twitter. I just tend to enter the odd couple on fb.

It was a bit cold and windy today Leanfun, even Jasper refused to go out so I had to pick him up to send him out. I'm sure he's peed on his dog bed too as it smells awful!

Hope it wasn't blowing a hooly for you in the garden Alfie!

Well done on the razor Rose! :j

I got another sample of Dior Poison in today :)
Me and DD1 went to the amusements tonight for a bit while DD2 was in gymnastics. I just went on 2p machines for the tickets that DD's saving for prizes. It's nice to get out for a bit!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Sun not out here this morning but am hopeful!
Got lots of ironing to do and beds to change so should be another busy day. Do have a ready meal cod Mornay for dinner though so only potatoes and veg to make. Love a nice easy meal occaisonally. DHs blood pressure been behaving under our healthier regime so can have an odd ready made meal. We do have homemade soup and bread left from yesterday for lunch so that will be nice and healthy anyway!
My T-shirt from Wychwood arrived yesterday, ordered it in Dhs size so he is pleased with it. He already has Halloween ones but this is a music one. Won £1 on GfK media the other day, not much but they all add up over the year as get one every few weeks.
Hope everyone has a lucky day.

    :hello: Good morning everyone

Another decent weather day here - bright but tad cloudy
sky (if you know what I mean) :p but it's looking as if
it will turn out sunny as the day goes on. :D

'Apparently' the remnants of Storm Stella (from USA) are due
here this coming Friday which will put an end to our balmy
spring weather! The worst affected areas are meant to be
Southern England and the North West!

Not really sure rose of the reason behind the missing
    post box!

I know back in January thieves stole four pillar mounted
post boxes from villages around Dochester - but these were
very old though and thought to be worth quite a lot to dodgy
dealers! The villagers were quite rightly upset as
many, especially the elderly, relied on the local post
    boxes.

Lol at your story fire**fly of the PO being moved but the
post box staying! Same with your story wingo of the
    'missing' bus stop! :eek: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I agree - it's most definitely done to confuse us! :D

    the GfK win! :T

Congrats on receiving another perfume sample wingo! :j

Yesterday I entered a 'Seeds for Bees' giveaway from Beefayre
so got fingers n' paws crossed for that - love doing all I can
to attract wildlife into my garden. :p

 Stephanie - Lovely to 'see' you and good luck with
    comping and winning a car. :T :j

Well - had better try to catch up with comps - as per usual
    I'm way behind! :p

Have a lovely and lucky day all and take care. :)

Postie just brought me a box of Chewy Moon Snacks for kids. As there are five boxes inside might just have one for myself. Save the GK's fighting over the spare box lol.
