The thread has been up and running for a while now and hopefully has helped out a lot of people with some great deals. A big thankyou to everyone who has contributed and great to see this becoming one of the most popular threads on MSE.
For newcomers to the thread looking for deals there is a mass of pages to look at so hopefully I can bring you up to date. Amazon continues to be a great starting point for most Lego sets but also as suggested by Lugh_Chronain check the megashopbot for cheaper prices elsewhere.

****TESCO CLUBCARD EXCHANGE IS NOW ON*** Double up your vouchers to spend on toys and games. This can also be done online to give you much better choice if your Tesco doesn't carry much stock. Exchange by Dec 1st and redeem by Dec 6th.
One for the Future -- Amazon Black Friday 21-25 November, could be worth keeping your eyes peeled for some mega bargains in this, just be prepared to be sat ready at the keyboard things go in seconds.

Boots have 3 for 2 on some Lego sets at the moment although I do find Boots a lot more expensive so would probably not be a big saving if any. I read a thread on here about a possible Boots points promotion at the weekend though so might be a bit more worthwhile for someone then with the extra advantage card points.

That police boat is a bargain, you get a lot of toy for the money compared to most sets!!
All of Amazons lego prices are fantastic, and the best around by miles at the moment. The 4-in-1 fire station pack for £62 (retails at Toys R Us for £79) is on my shopping list for christmas, and the POTC Queen Annes Revenge beckons to me, it's usually £102.99, but only £80.99 at the moment0
