Monkey38 Ltd - Rip Off Removals & Storage Firm 10th Nov 17 at 8:03 PM
We find ourselves in a situation where the contents of our house are in storage with a company called Monkey38 Ltd and we have arranged and paid for them to deliver our belongings to our new address at the end of November 2017. Here's the warning...the director/owner of Monkey38 Ltd, Timothy Hardiman, has done a runner! He's not responding to emails, the phone lines have been disconnected and Companies House have initiated the dissolution of the business. In the meantime, we have no idea whether our belongings are safe, secure or if we will even see them again. The Insolvency Service told me that this is not the first time Timothy Hardiman has done this. We've got solicitors working on this now, but is anyone else experiencing the same problems with Monkey38 Ltd and getting access to their property? If you ever see the name Timothy Hardiman associated with a company....AVOID IT!!!!!

    Hi there MooLou
We're in the same boat - neither Tim Hardiman nor his Manageress, Diane Kime, are responding to 'phone calls, or e-mails.
We've had our property in store there for over a year - in answer to the somewhat cynical and rather unsympathetic 'maninthestreet', Tim Hardiman came highly recommended and we had no idea he had 'done a runner' previously - in any event, we checked out his website and all seemed ticketyboo at the time. Some companies do have 'catchy names' so that they're not easily forgotten.
MooLou - I would be obliged if you will kindly keep us in the picture and we will do the same - I'm also taking legal advice in this respect. Thanks.

Also if he’d done a runner the first time surely he’d have been convicted?

After all, who would think that naming a company after a natural satellite and a porcine animal would be a wise move but Moonpig are probably the most well known online card company in the UK.
