Newbie - Looking for Moral Support

Hey all.

Hope you are all well and enjoying your bank holiday weekend.

I am new to comping, started this time last week.

I'm expecting to win everything straight away, I'm just looking for some stories and tips off people who have bee doing it for sometime.

I'd love to know about your best or even strangest wins. Also just some encouragement x

Your best bet is to read the IWIWIW Board here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=73 there's plenty of inspiration there. Good Luck.

  • It took approx 1 year and 1 month for my first big win, an all inclusive 5* holiday abroad. This was consistently entering the big prize comps every day.It was a fantastic holiday that i'd never have considered possible before comping.

I've been comping for years & have never had a big win like that - so far my biggest is a designer watch .

Welcome chickyd and good luck comping :)
Ive had my fair share of good wins in the past although lately they are small wins and few and far between but I will always love the buzz of comping! ;) That first win is always the most exciting no matter how big! Some months you win, some you don't but keep plodding on!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Make sure you enter comps for little things as well as big things.
I enter tons of comps and mostly win little prizes but they are all little treats for me so I'm happy.

I've been comping since January this year and only just got my first 'big' prize which is a stay in a London hotel, theatre tickets and a meal out all for 4 people.

Good luck, I hope you get your first win soon.
