Thanks for your suggestion. I shall check this thread again in the morning before we regroup and consider the options
No seriously, baliisticbrian is right- BT don't call when you use a premium number- go look at the complaints on the phone board where people wish they would call before they rack up £000s of pounds worth of charges.
A pop up to a dodgy link, a call back on the same number you used- sounds like you have a problem. Go over to the tech boards and ask for advice about a deep clean and investigate your PC, you may have something on there and it could potentially be watching for your ebay or paypal password.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Which? Surely that's the most important part, if it was on Ebay it's a serious matter, if the latter it could be a virus on your computer.
when i opened the website my anti-virus blocked something from opening so it does seem a VERY dodgy site.
Plus its as clear as day they are nothing to do with paypal, ebay or twitterCover me in honey and fling me to the hermaphrodites!0 -
You should probably also be aware that the website listed here has a black hole exploit on it, in other words some sort of virus.
Might be better not to trust that site.0 -
