Help me with BT

We stopped our service with BT at the start of February 2013 but despite them owing us money, as we had made advance payments, we received a bill for £93.85!
I have contacted BT many times via e-mail, Twitter and phone but despite many promises to resolve the problem and several operators admitting that the bill was wrong , we have now been threatened with a debt recovery agency. We are at a loss as to how to resolve the situation as we are just going around in circles and getting very worried at the threat of debt recovery when they owe us money.
Can anyone advise what we can do please?

Have you read, and followed their complaints code - you should ideally follow this - It also tells you what you can do once you've exhausted BT's own procedure.
