Cooker Hood - make quieter. Hotpoint HTC9T

Hi all,

I have recently bought a hotpoint HTC9T cooker hood and, due to limitations in my kitchen, have had to opt for the re-circularisation option which means I need to use the carbon filters. With the filters removed the hoods noise isnt bad at all (especially for the price!) but with the filters the noise increases mainly as a result of the carbon pellets rattling around.

Does anyone have this model or have you been in a similar situation and can recommend a solution? Are there any better filters out there? It is almost as if the filters supplied are underfilled and allow too much movement.

Any thoughts would be welcomed.

Thanks
