We'd like you and your family to step in front of the camera and show us what it is you love about our corner of the UK. Whether it is animals, landscapes, views or something a little more abstract we want to see the Lake District as you experience it, so get snapping and submit your picture below.

TERMS & CONDITIONS: This competition is open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland aged 18 years or over, except for employees of Lakelovers, their families or anyone else associated with this competition. Entries must be labelled with the entrant's name and image files must be 72 dpi and between 1MB and 3MB. All images submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them and must not have been published elsewhere or have won a prize in any other competition. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. Entrants must warrant that the photograph they are submitting is their own work and that they own the copyright for it. Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants. However, in consideration of their providing the image for competition, each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual licence to Lakelovers to feature any or all of the submitted images in any of their marketing, online or offline and/or in any other promotional material. The winning entry will be that that is judged, by Lakelovers to be the most visually appealing, and most appropriate for the intended use. The winner will be notified within seven days of the closing date of the competition via email and also posted on Facebook. The prizes as described are available on the date of publication. All prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives. The promoter is Lakelovers and this competition is not endorsed by or associated with Facebook. Closing date for entries is 12 noon 31st May 2013. The winner will be notified via email within 7 days of the closing date.
