    The article says "the stock, currently trading “in excess of $1”, was likely to be worthless very soon" - note the word "likely", not "will" be - presumably this is why some are still buying. Others will be selling.

    If its idiotic to buy, it must be clever to sell, so not all the people trading the shares are idiots.....
