I am sure I read about applying hot/warm wax to the hands to releive the pain of arthritis, do any of you know anything about it, and if it helps please?

Thermotherapy for treating rheumatoid arthritis.Superficial moist heat and cryotherapy can be used as a palliative therapy. Paraffin wax baths combined with exercises can be recommended for beneficial short term effects for arthritic hands.
This scientific review of heat therapy for arthritis concludes as above. Providing you are aware that you are only getting palliative treatment to make you feel better that's fine, it won't have a long term effect.
If you want a treatment for arthritis which does work long term then Supplementation of fish oil and olive oil in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.Ingestion of fish oil omega-3 fatty acids relieved several clinical parameters used in the present study. However, patients showed a more precocious and accentuated improvement when fish oil supplements were used in combination with olive oil.
So if you want a precocious (quickest possible) and accentuated (most intese) improvement in your arthritis you need fish oil omega-3 fatty acids (3 g/d) and 9.6 mL of olive oil. That is the equivalent of 2 teaspoons of ZIPVIT Omega Juice taken with 2 tsps of olive oil.
Do take note of the fact they are suggesting 3g of OMEGA a day rather than 3g of fish oil. You need to count up the EPA and DHA content of your fish oil capsules to find out how many you need to take to achieve 3g of total omega3 oils. You may find it's more cost effective to use my suggested zipvit source. My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program
