Why do car insurance companies vary so much???
We were paying £52.75 for ins on our vectra. We got rid of the car, bought a 2002 saab and as we had 2 mths left with our current insurance company,so decided not to switch in order to get another no claims. But ended up paying 2 mths at £77  , granted it did include a £15 charge for changing car details.
Have just bought new insurance to start in Feb when this one is due for renewel and got it for £40 :T :T .
Thats such a huge difference £77 - £40

Different insurers have different profiles and claim histories. If a contributing factor to a high volume of claims applies to your circumstances, you will find the policy cost may increase.0 -
Different insurers will also have different target markets. Many retailers and service providers are the same. They often use the price as a way to deter business rather than refuse it right out.
