Default June Somerfield Mag, Free Onken Mousse/Yoghurt

Just picked up the new edition Somerfield mag for June and inside are alot of Somerfield's own coupons mainly redemmable against Fruit & Veg and there is also an Onken Coupon for a free Youghurt/Mousse ?? I believe the varieties are Strawberry, Raspberry or Cherry. My little sister got the coupon from me and was really pleased, that was my good deed for the day.

I'm not sure if Somerfield were being a little naughty though as she said when she got to the till there was 4p to pay, My sis said "I thought it was free ", the assistant said we give nothing in here for free.

Let me know how you all get on

The magazine was free i think what she said was they allow the coupon the value of 45p and charge 49p for the yoghurt so i think this needs looking at, wonder if sis still has the rct , will try and find out !

Just got my copy, your right Pesky, it says "...free Onken Smooch up to the value of 45p..."

Its a shame they no longer have a pile of the magazines by the door - I was going to grab some extras. - What s all this about having to scan it at the till! Spoil sports.

It's all when and good, but in my local store.. we dont sell the smooch's yet.

Take as many books as you like, as long as they get scanned. You could say you work in a retirement home or something.

Default Thank you

Love these offers. A long while ago i think it was cat food sachets they gave away with the Somerfield magazine???

I've just sent my daughter up to get some of these and now I will get a mouthful becuse she will have to get a card so she can get a magazine, then they will only let her have one. And then she will have to find 4p and she is broke until next Friday!

That made me chuckle, my little sis only had 3p change on her when i sent her in yesterday, I gave the voucher to her as it helps her out alot, i give most of my freebies and coupons to her a she doesn't have much, someone at the till actually gave her a penny yesterday.

Poor little devil !

Default O/T re

Sorry, going a bit off topic here but I often do that, hand over the odd coin to help kids out at the till.

Yesterday, a biker went to pay for his petrol and his card was faulty so he had to fill in a slip at the petrol station. It was only for a £5 of petrol and I had to stop myself handing over the money for him.

That's a good un, that will teach them if they have put the 4p on the product for a coupon redemption charge or something.
