Essiac Herbal Extract for Cancer??

Anybody else have any experience of using Essiac Herbal Tea Extract?
It was reccommended to us by an American when we were over there on holiday. As father has suffered with prosate cancer for many years we decided to give it a try. He reports that he feels much better since taking it and we have decided to carry on supplying him with it.

I just wanted to know if anyone else out there was taking it too and what their experiences were, good or bad.

    hi simba
i looked into essiac tea (as well as other things), but to be honest, i got confused with what was good and what was a waste of time and money. i ended up not pursuing it.

its good to see that your father is feeling better, that sounds very hopeful and perhaps i should look into it again. could you tell me where you got it from and whether you had to make it in what seems to be a laboritary (sp).

my OH is going through hell ATM with more chemo and radiotherepy after a recurrence and if essiac could make him feel better would be a real boost to his mindset.
