Better breakdown cover
In Money Tips today (21 February) the best buy for breakdown cover including Europe recommended by Quotefind Direct was Europ Assisatance at £59. However, if you try to book this, the European cover does not start until 10 days after the UK coverage. Since I'm going on 1 March this was disappointing. However, Vehicle Rescue Direct appear to offer the same service (through AXA), for the same price, with both UK and European coverage starting simultaneously. So if, like me, you leave things to the last minute, VRD would appear a better deal.
