Help - Thought I had a Barclays 2008 7.5% ISA

Hi all,

Last year following a MSE post I (thought) I opened an ISA with Barclays fixed at 7.5%. I have had a call this evening from Barclays asking what I wanted to do with the money when the ISA term was up in January, and when I confirmed the interest rate being paid I was told it was 6.6% not 7.5% I had expected.

I queried this with the Barclays rep but all they could confirm was the rate they had given my and the anniversary date of opening the product. I do recall that you had to open the ISA before the stated closing date, which I am sure I did.

Has anyone else encountered this problem, and is there anything I can do?

Thanks
